Choose public, private or Gallery Mode

Set how guests can enter the event and whether AI search is used.

Before you start

Gallery Mode is permanent. New uploads in that mode are not face-indexed and do not use Snap Coins.

Steps

  1. Open Settings and review the event Mode in General.

  2. Use Public when guests should search or browse without organizer approval.

  3. Use Private to hide public browsing and direct guests to contact the organizer.

  4. Enable Gallery Mode only for a browse-only album with no face or bib indexing.

When you are done

The guest page exposes only the experiences allowed by the selected mode.

If something goes wrong

If you need face or bib search later, do not enable Gallery Mode. Create a separate gallery event instead.

Features, allowances and download quality can depend on your plan, event mode and permissions.
