Permissions fail closed: a contributor only sees and performs actions included in the assigned role.
Steps
In Contributors, review the available roles before sending an invitation.
Grant photo upload, album management or settings edit only when required.
Keep guest, download, statistics and contributor-management access separate.
Test the role with a non-owner account before event day.
When you are done
The event sidebar and API actions match the contributor’s role.
If something goes wrong
If a person cannot see a page, check the role before resending the invitation. Ownership cannot be simulated by a contributor role.
Features, allowances and download quality can depend on your plan, event mode and permissions.
